In 1995 Slepe Hall Hotel was one of the first venues to gain a license to hold civil weddings. Since then, we have grown to be a popular venue with our elegantly refurbished Cromwell Room proving to be popular for ceremonies all year round. Since 1st January 2003 we are pleased to be able to offer civil wedding ceremonies on a Sunday and some bank holidays through out the year.

We have three rooms licensed for ceremonies for the maximum numbers shown below:

Cromwell Room - 60

The Main Restaurant - 60

The Small Restaurant - 30

Civil ceremonies are not allowed to contain anything of a religious nature. All guests must be seated and smoking is not permitted during the ceremony. Room hire for civil ceremonies is £75.00.

The actual civil wedding ceremony needs to be arranged with the local registrar who may be contacted at:

Following the ceremony there is a choice of The Restaurant or Cromwell Room, both of which seat 45 for a meal, and the Brunel Suite which accommodates 200, although it may be partitioned for smaller parties, for your wedding breakfast.

Bridal Suites available for £95.00 per night to include bed and full English breakfast.
